On Sunday 26th October the Montgomeryshire Liberal Democrats teamed up with Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust to organise a fun run and help raise money towards the 30 Days to Save Dolforwyn campaign.
The campaign, run by Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, is currently at 39% of its goal and needs all of the support it can get.
Following the event Jane Dodds, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Montgomeryshire, said:
“This is such an important campaign for our local area. One of the things that makes Montgomeryshire so great is our fantastic countryside and Dolforwyn Woods are a big part of that.
“I was really pleased to see so many people come out and show their support. We managed to raise over £200 but the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust still needs everyone’s help with this campaign. I would like to encourage as many people as possible to go over their website and donate to this valuable cause.”
It is currently day 23 of the campaign and they have raised £58,548. Head over to their website to make a donation or get involved.
