Local Lib Dem campaigner, Jane Dodds, has conducted a constituency wide healthcare survey to find out the real issues facing Montgomeryshire residents. Jane and her team have been reading your responses and compiling the evidence. From here you can download the full report, the executive summary, or the report back in English or Welsh.
Commenting on the findings, Jane said:
"It's clear that local residents are concerned about the healthcare services available to them here in Montgomeryshire. Locally, we have seen ambulance response times as low as 51.6%, and thousands of people waiting over 12 hours to be seen at A&E across Wales.
"I've some some truly heartbreaking stories about how people have been let down with their cataract treatment or maternity care. No one questions the hard work of our NHS staff, but we face a very real problem with our healthcare infrastructure."
Back Jane's NHS Plan for Montgomeryshire:
- Save Shrewsbury A&E and restore services to Bronglais Hospital
- A new Urgent Medical Centre for Montgomeryshire
- Bring Welsh ambulance response and hospital waiting times up to the same standard as England
