Honorary President: Gareth Morgan
At our last AGM, we were delighted to appoint Cllr Gareth Morgan as our Honorary President. He is a Powys County Councillor and Town Councillor in Llanidloes. We wanted to celebrate his enthusiam, commitment and hard work that he has put into representing his constituents and supporting Montgomeryshire Liberal Democrats.

My role is to Chair the Local Party Executive meetings, take responsibility to make sure that there is compliance with legal requirements, including GDPR and to ensure that the Local Party is run according to the local party and national constitution.
I am based near Llansantffraid. Previously worked as a Constituency Organiser in both Shrewsbury & Atcham and Ceredigion. Currently a member of the Welsh Liberal Democrats Constitutional Affairs Committee.

My role is to support the Chair and deputise where needed as well as to provide advice and support.

My role is to have strategic ownership of expenditure and income, such as preparing budgets and financial targets for discussion by others and advising on the implications of spending decisions. I am also responsible for the practical side of managing the local party's finances, such as paying in bills, managing the payroll, and producing financial reports.
Secretary: Ceri Meehan
My role is to organise the monthly executive meetings, take minutes, arrange the AGM and local party officer elections, ensure decisions are consistent with consitutional requirements, handle correspondence and keep records up-to-date.
I live near Llansantffraid and have a keen interest in environmental and agricultural policy. I am also a member of the Welsh Liberal Democrats Policy Development committee and Welsh Conference Committee.

My role includes: Ensuring all membership details are correct and up-to-date, encouraging local members to get involved in campaigning on both a local and national level, organising a programme of social events to inspire members to get involved, helping to recruit new members and report to the local party Executive Meetings.

My role is to represent young people on the executive, to liaise with the Young Liberals and I also lead on social media for the local party.
