“I would like to congratulate Glyn Davies on being re-elected to represent the people of Montgomeryshire.  I know he will continue to work hard for this wonderful constituency.   

It has been an absolute privilege to be the Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate in this election, where I have been given the chance to meet so many wonderful people across our community. 

I'm a Liberal because I believe in fairness, opportunity and freedom. While the Welsh Liberal Democrats have not been successful in this occasion, I know that we will be back, fighting to once again be given the opportunity to represent the people of Montgomeryshire.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone for their support.  It has meant a great deal to me and will not be forgotten."
