After some successful online get-togethers in the autumn, we've organized a new, regular schedule for the months ahead. We'd love to have you join us, so here are some dates for your diaries:
On the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:30 for a Webinar/panel discussion.
OUR NEXT PANEL DISCUSSION: Rural Small Businesses - Challenges and Opportunities
On Thursday, March 4th, at 7.30 pm, a panel of business owners and experts are coming together for a public discussion on difficulties for small businesses, routes to recovery, and the potential for success when the new normal appears.
Among the speakers will be: Small Business Development Advisor, Accountant, and Co-Owner of The Dragon Hotel, Montgomery, Mark Cadwallader; Revo Bikes Director and Red Cloud Marketing and Communications Owner Mark Almond; and Amy Bainton, Head of Communications at the Federation of Small Businesses Wales. The panel will be chaired by Alison Alexander, Senedd Candidate for Montgomeryshire.
The online talk is part of a series hosted jointly with Brecon and Radnorshire Liberal Democrats aiming to explore big issues from a local angle.
Alison Alexander said: “I strongly believe we need to be able to explore really important issues in a polite and friendly way. To me, this is the basis of a strong democracy. You don’t need to be a party supporter to be a panelist or in the audience. Many businesses have had a really tough time recently. We need to talk about what we can do to ensure recovery and make sure we’re ready to take advantage of the opportunities that may be just around the corner.”
